Earlier, The Securities regulator BSEC approved an IPO of Khulna Printing and Packaging Ltd to go for public worth Tk 40 crore to float 4 crore ordinary shares at face value at Tk 10.

The Khulna Printing and Packaging company will use the IPO fund to raise the fund to meet working capital needs and pay back bank loans. As per the company’s financial statements ended on June 2013, the earning per share (EPS) was 2.82/- with net asset value (NAV) of 24.26/- per share. Sonali Investment are acting as the issue manger of the company's IPO. It will be the second listed company under the paper and printing category.

Primary Status of Khulna Printing and Packaging IPO Result:

All concerned are hereby informed that: Total amount of subscription (excluding NRB)=Tk.261,42,50,000 (application received=5,22,850 nos). Total amount received from NRB Tk. 22,50,00,000 (application received=45,000 nos). Hence, Total subscription received=Tk. 283,92,50,000 (application received=5,67,850 nos) against Public Issue of IPO of Tk. 400,000,000 (Total Lots=80,000 nos) which is over subscribed by 7.098 times.

Hence, Khulna Printing and Packaging Ltd (KPPL) IPO over subscript 7 times then IPO size.
